Creature design for the creature of the week contest at Conceptart.org. The brief was as to design a sail-backed desert walker.

I was messing around with my tablet last night, trying to get it to work correctly. After a couple of hours of updating drivers, rebooting the computer, and adjusting the pen sensitivity 100 times, I was pretty tired. I decided to doodle something that expressed my mood at the time.

This is a concept for a larger oil painting commissioned by a close friend. It's based off of Lord of the Flies.

Here's a new piece I just finished a few days ago. It's a creature concept for the 'Creature of the Week' contest at conceptart.org. The brief was to design a "Hazy Purple Dream Stalker". The only requirements were that it was supposed to look nightmarish, 70% of it's body must be purple, and it must be covered in a haze.
